Say "Yes" with CORIL!!

Changing Lives for People with Disabilities and the

Volunteers who serve them!!

Our Goal: To recruit and sustain 75 Weekly Volunteer hours to support  CORIL!!

"It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life, that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself."  -Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation's compassion, unselfish caring, patience and just plain love for one another." -Erma Bombeck

"I was attracted to volunteer with CORIL because if you watch the people there, you can see it in their eyes and you can tell that everything they do there matters.  The participants know that we are working for them and that we have an overall passion for the mission of CORIL."

"I would say my most memorable time was when one of the participants, Richard, came up to me and said, 'Thank you for helping us and being a part of CORIL.'"

-Molly  Renner, Bendbroadband

CORIL Volunteer Opportunities

Brain TrainĀ® Volunteer

Like Marty with Eric, volunteers facilitate a one on one experience for those recovering from brain injury or stroke, or people with developmental disabilities, to help them regain and maintain maximum cognitive functioning. A fun and interactive software program that anyone can learn - You don't need to be a "tech wizard" here.

Life Skills / Arts and Crafts Volunteer

For many of our participants, life skills instruction and interactive manipulative activities such as arts and crafts help unleash the creativity and imagination that is in all of us. Have you been a teacher's aid before or have some artistic skills you would like to share?  This volunteer experience may just be the perfect match for you!  Please contact Lisa McLean at lisam@coril.org or 541.388.8103

Supported Work Volunteer

There is perhaps no other more meaningful activity for people with developmental disabilities to participate in than being able to engage in meaningful work, earn a paycheck and give back to businesses and to the community. Work alongside our staff and assist our participants in helping them maintain the supplies they need, offer encouragement and assistance and light up your day and theirs!
