Our I.L. services and supports
People of all ages and disabilities are eligible for CORIL’s
programs.
One of CORIL’s goals is to find opportunities for its participants,
allowing them to live a more productive and independent lifestyle.
They offer the following programs:
-Programs that assist in promoting independence.
-Assistance finding Housing, Transportation, Vocational Rehabilitation,
as well
as Medical and Mental Health providers and facilities.
-A fully equipped computer lab with Brain Train® cognitive retraining
software and other computer programs with Assistive Technology.
-Pre-employment training.
-Life skills training tailored to fit individual needs.
CORIL offers its services to those who live
independently but require assistance in areas such as:
-Money Management
-Social Skills
-Household Responsibilities
-Health/Hygiene
-Time Management
-Disability Counseling
-Stress/Anger Management
-BrainTrain® (cognitive retraining software program for people
who've experienced brain injuries)
-Medication Regulation
-Volunteer Training
Counseling, education, informative sharing with others who experience
similar disabilities, including: decision-making, esteem building
and coping skills.
Assistance and/or representation in obtaining access to benefits,
services and programs for its participants—this also includes
efforts to implement local and state policy changes to make facilities,
services and opportunities accessible to people with disabilities.
Community education is available to increase public awareness about
those who live with disabilities and to enhance community awareness
of the issues they face.
Recreational activities are planned throughout the year to provide
participants with an opportunity for socializing and entertainment.
