Pledge-a-thon Partnership with Rachael Scdoris
At the close of Holiday Magic in December, CORIL solidified a partnership with Rachael Scdoris at her request to facilitate a Pledge-a-thon for the benefit of CORIL as well as to engage in an ongoing partnership to spread the awareness of our mission to empower people with disabilities to maximize their independence, productivity and inclusion in community based activities in their own lives.
CORIL is extremely grateful to Rachael for extending this newly formed partnership with us to not only help us raise the necessary financial resources through investment in our mission to achieve long term sustainability but to allow for her ongoing success as a role model both within and outside the disability community.
CORIL is committed to supporting Rachael through obtaining future sponsorship support necessary to continuing her Iditarod quests and help her continue to achieve her dreams. What became readily apparent right away was how Rachael's philosophy and approach to her entire life matched CORIL's Vision, Mission, Values and Philosophy in our work with others. When asked why she wanted to support CORIL and be a spokesperson for us she commented that it is only natural, "CORIL participants complete their Iditarods everyday."
