CORIL empowers people with disabilities to maximize their independence, productivity and inclusion in community life.

Update: Please take a moment to check out out new video library found under the "About Us" section.

Under the most challenging Iditarod conditions in 30 years, Rachael Scdoris finished the 2009 Iditarod in 45th place weathering wind chills of up to 80 below and a ground blizzard in the middle of the race that stopped 18-20 teams in their tracks for over a day!
You can continue to join Rachael's team and support CORIL by going to the pledge bar to the right and making a donation in her honor for as little as a penny a mile! If you would like to attend her welcome home party on Monday, April 27th to hear her describe this awesome achievement just email jiml@coril.org for details!
Watch for Rachael's new movie, Snowblind to be released shortly!

Because with each day that passes, there is GROWTH.

Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living (CORIL) is a non-profit organization that assists people living with disabilities and gives them the opportunity to discover their true abilities. Providing services such as skills training, counseling and employment assistance, CORIL strives to help the people they serve live a more dignified lifestyle, while becoming productive citizens throughout the community.

    Learning Independence
CORIL provides opportunities for those with disabilities to prepare for life on their own. In an environment supervised by professionals, CORIL participants receive practical training on social behavior, life-sustaining skills and how to live with their disabilities.

You can help change lives!
The work we do at CORIL is important. Our work literally changes lives. What we do requires a team effort with the entire Central Oregon community. Together we can “make the impossible…possible.”
